Hidden Bears Hidden Heros

About this event

Fostering-themed Teddy Bears have been placed around local Guernsey businesses for families to find over October half term. Among the 15 bears being cared for by businesses, each one is carrying a card with their individual story and information about fostering. The Family Placement Service is encouraging families to join in by working out the clues, finding the teddies and taking a photo of each one. Families can tag 'Guernsey Foster Care and Adoption' on Facebook to share which ones they've found. Clue sheets can be collected from Beau Sejour, the Guille-Alles Library and Mim's Kiosk at Cobo. They can also be downloaded from the Guernsey Foster Care and Adoption Facebook page. The Teddy Bears will be out to find during October half term, between Saturday 24th October and Sunday 1st November. If you are interested in fostering or other placement services and think you could offer life-changing support, stability and care to help change a child's future, please get in touch at guernseyfostercare.com, phone (01481) 223182 or email familyplacementservice@gov.gg.
